Who We Are
Winsome Toys is a toy manufacturer based in Chenghai District, Shantou, Guangdong. We build, source and export toys for international B2B buyers — importers, distributors, retail chains, promotional suppliers and brand owners — and we have done it as a direct factory, not a trading company, since we started.
Our production covers eight toy families: baby and infant toys, educational and STEM toys, plush toys, remote control and electronic toys, pretend play sets, outdoor and sports toys, DIY and craft toys, and injection-moulded plastic toys.
Factory, Not Middleman
The difference between a factory and a trading company shows up in four places, and all four matter to a buyer:
- Price — you are quoted by the people who pay for the moulds, the resin and the labour, with no margin stacked in between.
- Changes — when a client asks for a colour change, a smaller carton or a different insert, the decision is made on the production floor rather than relayed to a third party.
- Quality — because we control moulding, assembly and packaging, we can trace a defect back to the step that produced it instead of debating whose fault it is.
- Communication — a direct factory answers with facts about their own line, not with “the factory says”.

How We Approve and Control Quality
Every order — whether it is a stock catalogue item or a new ODM development — runs through the same six-stage inspection process: incoming material inspection, in-process control, final inspection, product testing, packaging inspection and AQL-based pre-shipment inspection. Products are tested to the standards your market requires, including EN71, ASTM F963, CPSIA, EN 62115, GB6675 and REACH.
What We Believe About Sourcing
Buying toys from China fails for predictable reasons: unclear specifications, optimistic lead times, untested assumptions about compliance, and communication that goes quiet after the deposit. None of those are exotic problems and none require a clever solution — they require a supplier who writes things down, tests before shipping and answers messages.
That is the whole of our approach. We are not the cheapest supplier you will ever find and we do not try to be. We aim to be the one whose next container arrives the way the last one did.
