Where We Are and What That Means for You

Winsome Toys is a toy manufacturer and exporter based in Chenghai District, Shantou, Guangdong. Chenghai is the cluster that produces much of the world’s plastic toy supply, which gives our buyers two practical advantages: a mature local supply chain for moulds, colourants and components, and a workforce that has been running toy production lines for decades.

We manufacture for toy importers, wholesalers, retail chains, promotional buyers and brand owners. We work as a direct factory rather than a trading desk, so the person who answers your enquiry is in the same building as the line that will make your order.

The Product Families We Manufacture

What We Keep Under One Roof

Most of the cost, lead time and quality risk in a toy order sits between the drawing and the sealed export carton. Keeping those steps inside our own facility is how we control all three.

  • Product development and tooling — our engineers take your sketch, reference sample or existing product and turn it into a costed, manufacturable specification before a single mould is cut.
  • Injection moulding — plastic parts are moulded on site, so a colour or tolerance problem is fixed in hours rather than negotiated across town.
  • Assembly — sub-assembly and final assembly lines handle both simple plastic toys and multi-part electronic sets with light and sound.
  • Printing and decoration — pad printing, heat transfer and sticker application are done in-house to keep artwork registration and colour consistent across the run.
  • Packaging — window boxes, sealed colour boxes, hang tags with zip bags, display cartons and mailer-ready packs.
  • Warehousing and consolidation — finished goods are stored and consolidated so mixed-SKU containers can be built against your delivery window.

How a Toy Order Runs Through Our Factory

New projects follow a structured ten-step process from concept to delivery — you can see the full breakdown on our OEM & ODM services page.

  1. Enquiry and requirements review — target market, age grade, quantity, target landed cost
  2. Costing and quotation within 24 hours
  3. Sample or prototype development, then your sign-off
  4. Tooling, or mould confirmation on existing designs
  5. Material and component sourcing against the approved BOM
  6. Pilot run and golden-sample approval
  7. Mass production with in-process checks
  8. Final and pre-shipment inspection
  9. Packaging, labelling and carton verification
  10. Container loading, documentation and shipment

Quality is not a single gate at the end. Every order passes our six-stage quality control process, from incoming material inspection through to AQL-based pre-shipment inspection before the container is sealed.

Compliance Built Into Production, Not Bolted On

Toys are one of the most heavily regulated consumer categories in the world, and a container that fails testing is a total loss rather than a delay. We design and test to the standards your destination market requires — EN71 for Europe, ASTM F963 and CPSIA for the United States, EN 62115 for electric toys, GB6675 for the domestic market, plus REACH chemical compliance. Certificates and third-party lab reports are issued in your company name where your market requires it.

If you sell into the European Union, our article on the EU Digital Product Passport for toys explains what changes for importers before 2030. Exporters shipping under the new packaging rules should also read the five things every toy exporter must know about PPWR.

Factory Audits and Live Video Tours

You should not have to take a supplier’s word for what their facility looks like. We welcome two forms of verification:

  • Live video factory tour — we walk you through the production floor, moulding area, assembly lines, QC area and warehouse on a scheduled video call, so you can ask to see a specific line while you are looking at it.
  • Third-party audit — you are free to appoint SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek or any nominated inspection company. We also carry social compliance audits such as BSCI where your retail customers require them.

Buyers ordering a first container commonly combine a live video tour with a pre-shipment inspection. That combination costs very little and removes most of the risk from a first order.

Working With Us

We keep minimum order quantities practical for a first trial so you can validate product and packaging before committing to volume, and we scale from there. Send us your product idea, an existing sample, or simply a category and target price and we will come back with options, tooling implications and a costed quotation.

Request a quote or book a factory video tour — we reply within 24 hours.
